Shippen Manor Free Lawn Concert: StoneHearth Bluegrass Band

Sunday, June 24, 2018 - 6:00pm

The Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission is happy to present StoneHearth Bluegrass Band in a free concert on the lawn of Shippen Manor.

StoneHearth has been together since 2002, and consists of the three founding members Mike Terris, E.C. Moore, and Mike Olenick who are joined by Tim Scheetz, and Pete Becker. StoneHearth Bluegrass Band plays traditional bluegrass but has been known to put a bluegrass style on hits by Simon and Garfunkle, The Drifters, The Everly Brothers and even The Beatles. They were one of about 80 acts selected from 700 to perform in the program Music Under the City, playing at various subway stations throughout New York City, with the biggest night playing under Madison Square garden the same night the Country Music Awards were held there.

Come out to sweet and sunny downtown Oxford. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, alcohol free coolers, picnic baskets, and significant others for the StoneHearth Bluegrass Band.

The Shippen Manor Lawn is located just off Route 31 in Oxford. This free StoneHearth Bluegrass Band concert is presented by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission, supported by the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and is funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The lawn at Shippen Manor is reasonably accessible, has reserved accessible parking and accessible lavatories.
