Centenary Stage Company kicks off this year's Women Playwrights Series with a staged reading of Darrah Cloud's play inspired by the stories of the first US Women's Gymnastics Team and their journey to the controversial 1936 Berlin Olympics. Initiated in 1992, the WPS is dedicated to providing a working forum for the unique voice of women writing for theatre today, and has helped to develop the work of over 60 playwrights from around the country, producing more than 14 world premieres on the CSC mainstage.
