There's so much going on, and we want to get back to the Warren County Farmers' Fair to enjoy more fair fun (and fair food!) so we'll keep this short! You never know who or what you'll see at the Fair! Here's Ed Goldberg of the Odessa Klezmer Band, who comes up every year to stroll around the fairgrounds and serenade us. Read on for all the details, and Happy Wanderings!

The YPW 2018 Summer Festival of Shows, which features young performers between the ages of 8 and 18 staging five different shows over 10 days, kicks off with Willy Russell's Blood Brothers, which tells the story of fraternal twins separated at birth. One brother is raised in a family of great privilege, the other in poverty. Even with their different socioeconomic backgrounds, the two boys end up becoming best friends -- until a misunderstanding leads to a tragic end.

2018 Tour de Blairstown

A trio of traditional artists comprised of Corey Purcell (button accordion, cittern, vocals, bodhran, dance), Dylan Richardson (guitar, tenor banjo, bouzouki, vocals), and Genevieve Gillespie (fiddle, vocals, dance), they were all raised in the US but brought up on the traditional music of Ireland. In fact, the band's roots can be traced to the early '90s when Gillespie and Purcell met in Irish dance class at the age of five. Their repertoire also is influenced by traditional music of other cultures including France, Scotland, England, and America.
