It's the most wonderful time of the year, as the song goes, and it's nearly here! This lovely photo of the Live Nativity at the recent Hope Lantern Tour, courtesy of Parashoot Productions, should put you in the holiday mood if you aren't already. So should the events you'll find below. And one final reminder, if you're still hoping to fill your home with the wonderful scent of a Jersey Fresh Christmas tree, here's a link to where you'll find the best ones around. 34th Annual New Year's Day Hike on the PVT

Start your new year on the right foot with a 4-5 mile hike along the Paulinskill Valley Trail. It's the 34th annual of this New Year's Day tradition, hosted by the Kittatinny Valley State Park's Friends organization. The cinder-based trail provides easy, level walking. Bring lunch and beverage!
