"People don't notice whether it's winter or summer when they're happy." - Anton Chekhov

So what if it's a little cold? It's a fresh, new year; you're either living in or near enough to this beautiful place; and we're about to tell you about some fun things to do here. What's not to like? We hope you enjoyed your holiday season, and we at the Wanderings home office pledge to bring you another year of hot tips on all the cool places to go. One special note: Centenary Stage Company's annual January Thaw Music Fest kicks off later this month and tickets are on sale now, so click that title to learn about the three upcoming performances. Just remember, those Chardonnay vines at Alba Vineyard pictured here may be snow-covered but they've already produced the fruit you can enjoy now, and they're probably dreaming of the next crop they'll make. So winter or summer, they're still happy. And you should be too! Happy Wanderings!
