The Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) is bringing back Late Night Thursdays each week, July 9-September 24. Businesses will be encouraged to stay open until 8pm so that visitors can stroll through town, have a bite to eat, and do some shopping. Check back for updates; they hope to include activities for kids and/or adults, special tastings, live music and more.
This being an unusual year, Well-Sweep decided to merge its annual Open House and Midsummer Herb Festival into one big event: the Midsummer Open House! Lectures, tours and vendors will be available. This year's International Herb Association's Herb of the Year(TM) is Rubus, which includes both Raspberries and Blackberries.

United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey (UACNJ) Observatory, located in Jenny Jump State Forest in Hope, NJ, begins holding public programs on July 11 with Al Witzgall. Al will discuss the origins of the chemical elements, their relationship to the presence of life, and how we are so closely related to it all.

Centenary Stage Company's critically acclaimed Young Performers Workshop is seeking new and returning applicants for the 2020 Summer Session, a special 5-week online program July 13 through August 16 that culminates with a week of online cabaret performances. The magic continues as young wizards and witches participate in new activities, attend new classes, and experience plenty of surprises.
