Board the train for a trip along the banks of the Delaware River to visit Villa Milagro winery. A short bus ride up the hill to the vineyard will allow you to learn how grapes are grown using minimal inputs, sustainable and conservation practices, how grape juice is transformed into wine, the equipment of wine making including crushers-destemmers, presses, pumps, tanks, barrels and bottling lines, aong with howartisan, hand-crafted wines are made.
Sample Villa's wines paired with hot hors d'oeuvres. Purchase wines to take home or enjoy on your return train trip. Then, off you go for another scenic train ride back to the station.
The train operates May 4 to October 27, 2024 with board at the Lehigh Junction Station in old town Phillipsburg.
