In this fly tying class, Wildlife Conservation Corps volunteers Pierre Benoist and Jim Flatley will discuss basic fly tying techniques and equipment, as well as teach you how to tie some basic beginner flies. This program is the last class in a series of seven fly fishing/tying classes. Students completing all seven classes will receive a course completion certificate. Those unable to attend all sessions or not wishing to earn a certificate may pick and choose the classes to attend. Students should bring their own equipment if available. Open to anyone 10 years old and above.

Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center
State trout hatchery visitor center offers exhibits and self-guided tour. Hiking trails on wildlife management area. 4000-acre tract is open to hunting and fishing. Pequest River is trout-stocked; angler parking area at Rt. 46 entrance.
