Enjoy the Hunter full moon with a hike at Dark Moon Preserve. This ‘slightly spooky’ October hike will be led by RVC President Margaret Schiller and a special guest, local card game developer David Mazure who will be talking about nocturnal animals and their feeding relationships, the focus of his new educational and family-friendly game, Devour.
We invite you to bring your family - both furry and non-furry. Space is limited for this hike. Advance registration is required. There is a suggested donation of $5 for this event.
Please remember to bring a flashlight to guide your way as needed. Horses, ticks, and all forms of wildlife enjoy this preserve. Like any good meadow ramble, we may encounter mud, water, and muck. Warm clothing, sturdy boots, and a towel for wiping shoes down for the car ride home are highly recommended.
