Author and professor Robert A. Mayers, the Revolutionary War Detective, speaks about his book "Searching for Yankee Doodle - Washington's Soldiers in the American Revolution". He uses original documents and oral accounts passed down through his family for generations. He is the descendant of patriot soldier Corporal John Allison, a graduate of Rutgers University and adjunct professor at Seton Hall University.
