Tea and Talk About Alice Morton Rutherfurd & Family

Tea and Talk sponsored by the Allamuchy Historical Society. Our Manager of Collections and History Expert, Joan Salvas, will  talk about Alice Morton Rutherfurd and Family.

Alice Morton Rutherfurd (1879-1917), daughter of Levi Morton, and Anna Livingston Street Morton, married Winthrop Chanler Rutherfurd in  February 1902. To honor the centennial of her death, Rutherfurd Hall invites you to talk on the history of Alice's ancestors. Dating to July, 1623 with the arrival at Plymouth Colony of George Morton and his family aboard the Anne, the Mortons have played an intregal role in our nations financial, diplomatic and political history.

Rutherfurd Hall

Historic mansion visited by FDR open for tours every Wednesday at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Concerts are free to the public with a recommended donation of $10, Tea & Talk lecture series, Film Night, summer camps and more.
