Family Fun
Von Thun Farms is a 5th generation family farm on over 100 acres of preserved farmland. They have a farm market open Tuesday - Sunday from 10 am - 6pm. The farm grows over 40 different varieties of fruits and vegetables including corn, tomatoes, apple, string beans, zucchini, squash, pepper, cucumbers and more. Come pick your own strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and apples. Join their CSA program and purchase a 'share' of the season's harvest. Each week they package a basket of homegrown, in-season produce just for you! CSA members pay for an entire season of produce up front before the season starts and the crops are ready to be picked.
The annual county get-together features 4-H, FFA and other agriculture contests and exhibits, a popular Hot Air Balloon Festival, Traditional Arts Expo, midway and Main Arena power events.
