
Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Warren County will hold its Community AG Day at the Van Nest-Hoff-Vannatta Farmstead. Workshops on beekeeping, composting, gardening and other sustainable practices are offered. Lots of demonstrations, kids crafts and food vendors on-site. Historical Warren County agriculture pictures will be on display. Music by the Sycamore Banjo Band. Admission and parking are free.

Working in partnership with the the Harmony Historical Society, the event is held at the Van Nest/Hoff-Vannatta Farmstead in Harmony, NJ.

This remarkably intact farmstead was listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places in 2005 as a representative illustration of the rural region’s architecture and agricultural practices during the 18th and 19th centuries.
