A free event, open to the public, the Hackettstown Historical Society invites everyone to learn about colonial taverns of New Jersey. These establishments served as community and communication hubs as well as temporary government sites during the American Revolution. It also earned New Jersey the nickname of "Crossroads of the Revolution."
Refreshments will be provided.
