Bring family, friends and a potluck dish to share along with your own plates, utensils, etc. The day begins in the fields across the road where we all get a little dirt under our nails harvesting carrots for winter storage. There are also some fun activities for the children who weave their way in and out of the harvest. At around 5pm, we shift gears and move down to the playground area where some may want to participate in sack races organized by our amazing team of apprentices/young farmers, dine on the finest potluck in the world, sit around a big bonfire, sing, play, socialize and have a most wonderful day celebrating our farm our community and our food.
Come for the whole day or any part of it. This is a free event.
Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm
Community Supported Agriculture gives an opportunity for a community of people to take responsibility for supporting a farm. It is a partnership between the farmers and the people who directly benefit from the food.
