
Soar into fun at the Warren County Hot Air Balloons, Arts & Crafts Festival, a two-day family-friendly event at Warren Community College.
Enjoy hot air balloon displays (evening showcases, weather permitting), tethered balloon rides ($30 adults, $20 children 4–12, free for ages 3 and under with a paying adult, subject to pilot approval), drone exhibits by WarrenUAS featuring air, ground, and underwater vehicles, and meet SPOT, the robot “dog.”
The festival also offers live music, a car & truck show, chalk art contest, June Jumble Combat Robot Competition with up to 75 robots, children’s entertainment with Balloons the Clown and Grins & Grins juggling, food trucks, vendors, and free activities at Fascination Place.
Saturday features the Hot Rides & Hot Air Balloons Car & Truck Show with trophies for Top 10, People’s Choice, and Best of Show, the Strolling Dulcimers, a DJ Gold’n dance party, and acoustic duo Stevie Vicks (5-8pm). Sunday brings the Harmony Garage Band debut at the balloon festival, the returning Kudos Barbershop Quartet, and the Easton School of Rock Bank Street Band (5:30–7:30pm). The Chalk Art Contest offers cash prizes for youth and adults, with designs created along the campus walking trail.
Relax on the college’s large lawn with blankets, chairs, and small games like quoits or corn hole (pets, outside food, and alcohol prohibited, except snacks for small children). Explore the 1.2-mile campus walking trail.
Discounted tickets available online until June 5: $10 adults, $4 children (4–12), $5 parking; family pack $40 (up to five people, including parking). After June 5: $12 adults, $5 children, $6 parking. Tethered rides are first-come, first-served, purchased onsite one hour before start (around 4:30–5pm). Full balloon flights: call 908-283-0721.
