7th Annual Pork Roll Palooza Hosted by Norwescap

Norwescap is proud to host the 7th Annual Pork Roll Palooza, sponsored by The Taylor Provisions Company, on Saturday, October 12 from 11am to 5pm at Shappell Park. With several thousand guests expected to gather, this is hailed as one of the area’s most anticipated fall fun and family friendly events. Besides the infamous pork roll in several iterations, expect almost a dozen food vendors, live music, games, prizes, and a host of local crafters, vendors, small businesses, and community organizations.

New this year is a unique opportunity for talented artists to showcase their Taylor Ham or Pork Roll-inspired creations at this year’s Pork Roll Palooza Festival & Art Show on Friday, October 11 at 6 pm. The event is free for all to attend. If interested in participating, visit www.porkrollpalooza.org.

For your dancing and listening pleasure, the Gazebo in Shappell Park will be jammin’ out to Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns Check and Fish Eyed Blues. Shorty Long performs music from all genres, styles and artists from every generation. FEB will be spinning a mix of traditional and contemporary blues along with blues-rock, giving it their own interpretation.

Contests and activities include Best Pork Roll Dish , Pork Roll Palooza Pig Races, Quoit Tournament, and Family Pig Pen (sponsored by McWane Ductile).

Food vendors include We Squeeze to Please, Endless Empanadas, Steele Hill, Fork to Flour, Thomian Gallery, Tia B’s Street Tacos, Kosher Pig, USA, Quickies Egg Rolls, Jerzey Girl Pickles, Kona Ice of Hunterdon County, and Invertase Brewery, the official beer of Pork Roll Palooza.
