Phillipsburg Farmers Market Relocation and Day Change

The Phillipsburg Farmers Market has relocated to the promenade at Riverside Way and the large municipal parking lot on the banks of the Delaware River, and will be open on Saturdays from 9am – 1pm.

The market sits in the shadow of the Northampton St. “Free Bridge” connecting Phillipsburg to Easton and coincides with the Easton Farmers Market. The new site features loads of free parking along with the scenic backdrop of “New Jersey’s Other Shore.”

“Moving the Market to the river boosts our Rails to Trails initiative with nearly $3 million in grant funding for the program,” said Patrick Kays, who coordinates Phillipsburg’s Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) program and is Director of Municipal Services & Community Development, stating this is just the start of things to come.

Market-goers can park on the Phillipsburg side, sampling homemade, artisan and culinary wares, stroll down by the water and then across the historic bridge to see what Easton has to offer.

“Farmers markets on both sides of the river can make for a gorgeous morning,” said Phillipsburg UEZ Event Coordinator, Elizabeth Wyant.
