Russ Rentler presented by The Arts at St. Luke's

Saturday, November 1, 2025 -
7:00pm to 9:00pm

November starts off with beautiful music at the Arts at St. Luke’s, with Russ Rentler bringing his original music to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Hope. The multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter performs music steeped in the Appalachian tradition. SingOut magazine called him a “gifted songwriter and fine musician.”

Along with John Gorka and Richard Shindell, Rentler was a founding member of the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band in 1976 at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa.

His performances are fast-paced with multiple instrument changes interspersed with humorous stories about a life practicing medicine with the heart of a troubadour.

The Arts at St. Luke’s presents concerts through the year at the historic Episcopal Church in the quaint Moravian Village of Hope.

The next concert after Rentler is Deb D’Anne and the Stillwater Trio on Saturday, Nov. 22. In December, St. Luke’s is a stop on the Moravian Lantern Tour on Saturday, Dec. 13, and will feature Christmas music.

There is ample on- and off-street parking at the church at 346 High Street. The building is accessible. Concerts are partially funded through a grant from the New Jersey State Council for the arts, a partner of the National Endowment for the Arts, channeled through the Warren County Department of Land Preservation, Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
