Hosted by The Town of Phillipsburg and the Bernardine May American Legion Post 457, this year's Memorial Day Parade procession will step off at 9:30am from Walters Park. The parade will travel down Richard Road, onto Center Street, through the culvert to South Main Street, and head north to Shappell Park for the morning’s formal services, to which the public is invited.
At the conclusion of the Shappell Park program, an announcement will signal the transition to the Bridge Ceremony, which begins approximately 25–30 minutes after the formal services end.
Due to current infrastructure changes, participants may make their way to the Free Bridge by any preferred route. For those requiring assistance, transportation vehicles will be staged in the Transit Lot across from Joe's following the Shappell Park ceremony to shuttle attendees to the bridge.
