Pumpkins
Autumn has arrived! The fruit ripens, it’s time to harvest, the leaves will be displaying their blazing colors soon. It’s a perfect time for wandering in Warren County, to pick apples and enjoy freshly pressed cider, to take on the challenge of a corn maze or traipse among acres of sunflowers, or just to enjoy nature's most glorious days of the year. Here are some ideas for you and your family to help you plan your fall fun at our farms.
Harmony Cider Press has been part of the local community since 1924 when it was started by the Smith Brothers. In 1952, it was purchased by Ellis Apgar and has been run by the Apgar family until 2025.
The Stokes family is committed to the same founding principles of the Smith Brothers and Apgar family to continue to serve the community. Our farm will provide the freshest farm grown produce and locally sourced products while preserving all the rich history of cider pressing for the enjoyment of generations to come.
Longmeadow Farm has 15 varieties of apples. Their apples are their main attraction, but they offer so much more! Also have pick-your-own pumpkins for Halloween, and a berry patch with raspberries and blackberries. And, don't forget, their jams, jellies, and honey. There are also hayrides for the kids or those just young at heart.
