This is a nonprofit museum covering history in the Warren County Pohatcong Valley in Northwest New Jersey. The museum contains seven rooms of exhibits covering Transportation, Education, Business (Oxford Furnace and Edison Cement), Morris Canal, Native American, Washington Borough and Washington Township (Warren County) history.
Everything here is locally sourced, not just the owners. Our baked goods and wraps come from other local small businesses, and our coffee and espresso beans come from a local roaster.

Von Thun Farms is a 5th generation family farm on over 100 acres of preserved farmland. They have a farm market open Tuesday - Sunday from 10 am - 6pm. The farm grows over 40 different varieties of fruits and vegetables including corn, tomatoes, apple, string beans, zucchini, squash, pepper, cucumbers and more. Come pick your own strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and apples. Join their CSA program and purchase a 'share' of the season's harvest. Each week they package a basket of homegrown, in-season produce just for you! CSA members pay for an entire season of produce up front before the season starts and the crops are ready to be picked.

William’s Irish Tavern is the fulfillment of a vision and was years in the making. Three local friends dreamt about a local gathering place, a pub style atmosphere, to meet and talk after work and even to bring the family for a quick bite to eat. The resulting restaurant and bar, which launched in 2016, embodies the spirit of a founding father of Washington Borough, Colonel William McCullough, who built the township’s first ever tavern.
