"Well, bust my buffers!" - often repeated line of Thomas the Tank Engine

Well said, Thomas! Hard to believe, but at the time of this publication, tickets were still available for this weekend's "A Day Out with Thomas" Delaware River Railroad Excursion, and also for The Polar Express ride coming up this holiday season - which usually sells out months in advance - so book while you can! 

There are some legendary musicians working the stages this weekend including Joe Izen and Ed Jankiewicz. Villa Milagro is featuring the sounds of Ginger & Joe, and James Popik, along with its signature Sangria Soiree.

While the Shippen Manor concert series continues, Shippen Talks and tours are happening this weekend with guest speaker Ina Walls giving her story of growing up in Warren County as a black woman.

Align and Dine at Orchard View Lavender Farm with yoga and meditation followed by a cocktail-style dinner social.

The Museum at Bread Lock Park has obtained a new exhibit - "The Magic Age of Steam". Plan Ahead: 

Teen Arts Watercolor Mug @ Gardner Library

Teens will be instructed using wet on wet techniques to create an ocean beach scene watercolor sized to fit inside a reusable travel cup (provided). Bring your own watercolors and brushes if you can or share some.

Warren History Museums Are Open

For the month of August, Warren County's two museums located at historic Morris Canal will be open a week later than usual, on the third Sunday. Stop by and learn why you keep seeing the brown "Morris Canal Crossed Here" signs around the county, as volunteers will be there to welcome you and answer any questions. The Museum at Bread Lock Park has obtained a new exhibit - "The Magic Age of Steam". Or, journey underground on a guided tour through the 165-foot tailrace tunnel, and see other canal artifacts at the Jim and Mary Lee Museum.
