Starting March 4, 2020

“You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight saving time.” — Dave Barry, American author and humor columnist

We'll start this week's edition of Wanderings on a more serious note, with a photo courtesy of the National Park Service of the crews getting ready to battle the recent forest fire in the Delaware Water Gap. We are grateful to those who put their lives on the line to protect our beautiful spaces, and appreciate all they did to limit the fire's damage. We also want to remind you that Daylight Saving Time arrives this weekend; prepare to spring forward (and lose an hour's sleep) on Sunday at 2 a.m. Why do we do this? See the quote from Dave Barry, above. You just have to laugh. And that reminds us there are lots of laughs in store, with two comedy events this weekend and another next that we've highlighted with large images in this week's edition. So march forth on this March 4th, read on, and Happy Wanderings!
