"A mother is like a flower, each one beautiful and unique."- Anoymous

To mothers everywhere, no matter the species, we say thank you. We also thank Belvidere resident Kent Swiegert for the photo above, taken in 2018.

You may want to take your favorite mom out for a special meal at Uniontown Bar and Grill at Harker's Hollow Golf Club, and/or to any of the county's four wineries. But why wait until Sunday to celebrate mom? There are a few festivals on Saturday - a Craft & Farmers' Market at Well-Sweep Herb Farm, a Chil Fest at Invertase Brewing and Washington BID's first-ever Rock & Roll Steam Punk Fair. Seek out the Explore Warren table at the Steam Punk event and say hello! We will be offering chances to win a couple of prizes courtesy of VonThun Farms.

Saying goodbye to a bunch of COVID restrictions is another reason to celebrate! We are finding out about more and more fun events planned for the coming weeks and months, so keep an eye on the Explore Warren events calendar. (If you think something is missing, please drop us a line to make sure we know about it.) In the meantime, scroll down for lots more to do in the coming week. Happy Mother's Day and Happy Wanderings!
