Who doesn’t love the works of Roald Dahl? Moving on, those of us fortunate enough to live in this corner of the state are impervious to the ubiquitous “What exit?” jokes. We know that New Jersey is truly the Garden State, and you don’t have to look very far for proof of that these days. Local peaches are here! Our cover photo was nicked from Best’s Fruit Farm in Independence Township, and peach sundaes are being offered by Mackey’s Orchard at the western end of Warren County in White Township. Peaches aren’t your fave? You have our sympathy, but hope you are feasting on Jersey Fresh zucchini, corn, tomatoes and more!

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) is bringing back Late Night Thursdays each week, through August 26. Jukebox Trio will be playing party hits primarily from the '70s and '80s.

This one-of-a-kind triathlon at Mountain Lake in Liberty Township includes a ¼ mile swim, a 15 mile bike ride and a three mile run, and benefits The Arc of Warren County. This is a USAT sanctioned triathlon and teams or individuals are welcome to participate. This event is presented by DASH Multisport, LLC and The Arc of Warren County. Registration to participate closed July 12, but come out to cheer them on!

Held each Saturday in downtown Washington borough through October 2 from 10am to 2pm, the market runs along Route 57, anchored in the Pocket Park located at 44 E. Washington Ave.

Warren County Farmers Market

Formerly known as the Belvidere Farmers' Market, the Warren County Farmers' Market provides a venue where local farmers, producers, and artisans come together to provide a variety of fresh produce and related products directly to the consumer. Open every Sunday, and live music has been known to happen there!

Ride The River and Steam Train

Take a scenic narrated trip on a historic passenger coach along the beautiful Delaware River to Riegelsville and return. Trips depart from Phillipsburg at 11am, 12:30pm, 2 pm & 3:30 pm, weekends May-October. Winery Train offered as well!

Have questions about orchid care or just want to learn more about these beautiful plants? Join the discussion lead by orchid expert Bill Slender. The Club is open to all Warren County residents. Tuesday’s meeting will be held in the gazebo behind the Catherine Dickson Hofman Library on Lambert Road, Blairstown.

Plein Air Outing @ Ramsaysburg Homestead

Calling all artists!! We are so pleased to announce our first in-person event of the 2021. Join us for an afternoon of plein air painting and photography at Ramsaysburg Historic Homestead in Delaware, NJ. Bring your easel and paints, camera, lawn chair, water, lunch and any other materials.
