Chaplin: Classic Celluloid Stories Told in Dance presented by CSC
The Young Performers Workshop is dedicated to the enrichment of young lives through experience in the theatre arts, and serves as a venue for cultivating young theatre performers between the ages of eight and 18. This performance features multiple works of classic film star Charlie Chaplin and comes to life in these pantomime-dance depictions. The selection includes the silent masterpiece “The Kid” about a little tramp who discovers a little orphan and brings him up but is left desolate when the orphanage reclaims him. This play has been choreographed and adapted by program director, Michael Blevins.
Seven Chances presented by CSC
YPW continues with Seven Chances. Jimmie Shannon is to get the twelve millions dollars left by his deceased grandfather - provided he is married by the time he reaches his thirtieth birthday. Jimmie doesn't care much about marriage, or money and doesn’t think he's particularly handsome. Jimmie has a chance, in fact, seven, and it is with these that the rest of the play is concerned.

The duo will present these composers’ works, along with Tango favorites for two guitars.

Hot Air Balloons - Arts & Craft Festival
A four-day festival hosted by Warren County Community College features hot air balloon launches in the evenings at 6:30pm, and tethered rides as weather permits. The college will showcase their extensive drone program with demonstrations at the drone port. Plus there will be local artisans and a juried Arts & Crafts show, food trucks and musical entertainment from 2pm to 9pm. Tickets are available online.
