"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." - Charles M. Schulz

The Peanuts cartoonist had it right, and New Jersey wineries - including all four here in the federally-recognized Warren Hills Viticultural Area - are taking those words to heart with a Wine and Chocolate Weekend to celebrate the upcoming Valentine's Day. The vines might be blanketed with snow, like those pictured at Alba Vineyard in Finesville, but it's warm inside! Make this the perfect getaway for you and your loved one. Read on for more ideas to celebrate the holiday for lovers this weekend and next week as well. Meanwhile, because we love our Wanderings readers, and we love great music, we'd love to share a free pair of tickets with you to see the band Ranky Tanky this Saturday evening at the Lackland Performing Arts Center in Hackettstown. You want 'em? Just send an email to us at tourism@co.warren.nj.us with the words "Ranky Tanky" in the subject line by 9 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 8). We'll do a random drawing from the responses to pick a winner and notify that person with details on how to get the two free tickets from Centenary Stage Company for Saturday evening's performance. Wherever you head, we hope you'll keep love in your heart. Happy Wanderings!
