It is indeed the season, so Carpe Berry, and get them while the getting's good. Donaldson Farms just outside Hackettstown in Mansfield Township  (provider of the cute photo that tops this week's newsletter) kicks off its strawberry harvest weekends, while Stoneyfield Orchard near Belvidere is another pick-your-own spot and you'll find them on lots of farmstands will too, as you go Wandering in Warren this weekend. Read on for open houses, downtown events, and plenty of theater and music. We welcome the month of June, and wish you Happy Wanderings!

Slow Rolling Low’s lineup includes Harry Noble III on banjo, guitar and vocals. Noble is one of the founders of Cannons in the Cornfield and Quimby Mountain Band. Trevor Newcomb is on percussion.

ParkFest will feature a lawn concert by three different jazz combos – bring lawn chairs or a blanket to enjoy The Louis Pettinelli Quartet, The Jack Furlong Quartet, and The Dennis Melillo Swing Quartet on stage. Artists display their work inside the barn, where you’ll also have a chance to see local filmmaker John General’s short documentary “Extra 1104 - The Story of the Rockport Train Wreck”. In "Authors Alley" you'll meet a variety of fiction, non-fiction and children's book authors. There's also a classic car show; local history displays; food vendors; and other entertainment, and the Warren County History Museum at Bread Lock Park will be open, with artifacts, displays, and working models on aspects of the county's rich history.
