"The groundhog is like most other prophets; it delivers its prediction and then disappears." - Bill Vaughan (1915-1977), American columnist and author

While we're hoping the groundhog might keep more snow at bay, it sure does make for beautiful photos, i.e. the Juncos looking for seed in the yard of Warren County resident Joan Strowbridge, pictured above.

We're jumping into February with all our might, excited for Groundhog Day, Super Bowl XL, Valentine's Day, a Friday the 13th, Mardi Gras and more! This month is packed with fun!

Check out Big Beat Big Band for an afternoon of feel good music at Centenary Stage Company, and CSC's NEXTstage Repertory production Peter Pan and Wendy

Brush up on your art skills and knowledge with Woodburning and Ice Cream at Villiage Sundaes, Palentine's Terrarium class at Invertase Brewing Co., and a Date Night Drawing session at Warren County Libraries Southwest branch.

Various restaurants are having Super Bowl LX watch and eat parties while Valentine's Day is close behind. Don't worry! We searched high and low, and though it's a bit early, the 2026 list can be found on the Valentine's Day page

Stay warm and Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Super Bowl and Happy Wanderings!
