A special celebration held on the birthday of local artist Richard Schisler (1913-2003) celebrates his life and legacy during a month-long exhibition of his work. Each year, more than 20 original paintings by Schisler are displayed, and his art tells stories, evokes emotion, and reflects a lifetime of creativity that still resonates deeply with all who experience it. Many of the works are of local scenes in the Phillipsburg area.
This year’s exhibit will be on display throughout the entire month of May, offering visitors many opportunities to enjoy and reflect on his remarkable body of work.
