Enjoy the spacious festival site with open fields surrounded by gorgeous views. Right now we have a good crop of apples ready to be picked with many varieties including Red and Golden delicious, Ida Red’s, Paula Red’s, Staymen Winesap, Cortland and Rome. We do not use chemicals to hold our apples onto the trees so many apples will drop once they are ripe. Please include the apples on the ground when you come to pick as they are ripe and ready to eat.
There is a $10 per carload admission fee for the Apple Wine and Music Festival weekend but it includes live music, hayrides, corn maze and wine tasting. Music on Saturday features Shoresyde Duo and on Sunday we feature Brass Roots.
Harvest weekends begin October 5 and 6 and will continue through the end of October or until all the apples are picked. Harvest weekends include Pick Your Own Pumpkins as well as the apples and admission is free. $15 a bag, pick as many bags as you want. Bags must be purchased prior to going to the orchard. We currently have a decent crop so there should be plenty of apples for the first few weeks. Bring the kids as there are some on the ground that are perfectly good.
