Blairstown Historic Preservation Committee presents its annual fall walking tour! This year we will meet the who's who of Blairstown's past during our tour of Cedar Ridge Cemetery.
Parking will be on Adams Road. This is a side road on the same side of Route 94 as the cemetery. It is adjacent to the west entrance. Please do not park in the cemetery. Two tours will depart our BHPC tent at the west entrance (closest end to Tractor Supply Company). Starting times are 1pm and 3pm.
There will be a sixty guest limit per tour on a first-come, first-served basis. Proceed directly to the tent upon arrival. Sign-in will begin at about 12:30 and 2:30. After you sign in you will receive a numbered ticket to hold a place for you on the tour. There are no reservations and tours are expected to run about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Please wear sturdy footwear and be prepared to walk about 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile. The cemetery is set on a hilly terrain and there will be some parts of the tour that will go off the cemetery roadways. Please watch your step as you walk between the gravestones. Leave pets at home.
