Did you know that Hackettstown celebrates its 170th birthday on March 9 and the 48th birthday of the Hackettstown Historical Society on March 6? Presentations by Bob Best and Paul Stahl will happen between 2-3pm on the History of Buck Hill, highlighting the lighted holiday cross and star that appear each year on the side of the hill facing Hackettstown.
View the new displays in the front parlor, including Toys made in Hackettstown, "Gibson Girl" style clothing and two displays from the Taylor Memorial Library at Centenary University.
Light refreshments will be provided, along with various historical books, memorabilia, t-shirts, and "History Mystery grab bags" available for purchase.
Become a member of the Society and/or sign up to volunteer!
