Students will slump, carve, extrude and coil clay creations of all kinds. Every class will be a new project. You will learn the fundamentals of working with clay and creating food safe and decorative pieces. The clay is an earthenware clay that is beautiful once fired. Projects will include a slumped dish, coil bowls, votive, inlay carving trivets, sculptures and adding natural textures. All pieces will be glazed and fired, ready to be picked up the following week. (Dress for the mess.)
Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks and they will supply the rest. Admission is $35 which includes glaze and firing. Get your tickets here.
