The Warren County Community Singers will present two performances of their annual Winterfest of Music featuring the Children’s Chorus of Warren County on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. The Saturday concert is at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg, and the Sunday concert is at the First Presbyterian Church, 40 East Church Street, Washington. Both venues are wheelchair accessible and have ample parking.
The Community Singers are a non-audition group made up of about 60 singers from high school age to senior citizens. They come from all over the county and beyond. The new semester starts in early January. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Washington.
The concert is free, but a good-will offering will be taken. The singers are funded in part through the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
