Oxford Emergency Squad's 50th Anniversary at Furnace Lake

In 1971, gas was 36 cents, Richard Nixon was president, Apollo 14 landed on the moon, and the Oxford Emergency Squad was born. Even today, Oxford EMS stokes pride in those who serve. New technology, new lifesaving devices, and the commitment of training gives squad members the opportunity to not only change people's lives, but save them, too! Celebrate 50 years of service, teamwork, innovation, and Oxford pride by gathering at Oxford Furnace Lake for a fun-filled afternoon to include food trucks, music, a dunk tank, ceremony, bounce house, face painting, extrication demonstration and a bonfire.
