The Hope Township Environmental Commission and Green Team are hosting its 6th annual “GO GREEN WITH HOPE” Fair at the Hope Township School. Everyone is invited to this “Spring Cleanout Extravaganza”, and Environmental Education Day to participate in, investigate and learn about reducing, reusing and recycling in our homes and businesses and keeping all of our neighborhoods Green. The day will include:
— Electronics waste collection (benefiting Abilities of N.W. Jersey)
— Paper shredding (certified, insured, professional)
— Project Medicine Drop (Warren County Sheriff’s Office)
— Clothing, housewares, books, etc. collections (Salvation Army)
— Collections of towels, blankets, cleaning supplies, pet food and toys for animal shelters
— Sheets and blankets for “Simple Quilts"
— Free cycle area – (Drop off on Friday, Free-Shop on Saturday)
— Tree seedlings give-away
— Radon Testing Kits
— Information and displays from organizations, businesses
— T-shirt to tote demonstration and give-away
— Plastic yarn from plastic bags possibilities
— Raffles, discounts
