Join RVC Trustee Joel McGreen to hike this 97-acre preserve, a forested tract of land that hosts various deciduous and evergreen species, dominated on the north by hemlocks. Large tulip poplars, successional black birch, and mature oak, hickory and maple trees are present. A perennial stream flows within a deep ravine on the eastern end of the property. Meet in the parking lot of Givens-Belet American Legion Post (County Route 521/Hope Road) at 9:50am. Hike will begin at 10am. Sign-up today.
