Hometown Halloween in Washington Borough

The Washington Borough Business Improvement District will be hosting its annual Hometown Halloween on Monday, Oct. 31.

The event will be held rain or shine from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, kids can trick or treat at local businesses and take part in the annual costume contest. Judging will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the Pocket Park. Prizes will be awarded.

A recent addition to the fun is the Best Dressed Pet contest. Prizes will be awarded to the finest-looking furry friend. Judging for the pet contest will also be at 4:30 p.m. in the pocket park.

While trick-or-treating and having fun, don’t forget to browse the scarecrows posted along East Washington Ave. and dance to some Halloween tunes with DJ Mitch Hess.
