Friday, September 15, 2017 -
7:30pm to 9:30pm

Award-winning jazz vocalist James Tormé (yes, he’s the son of the great Mel Tormé) is quickly becoming one of the most talked about music artists on the planet.

With a brilliant reinvention of the smoky vocal jazz of the early sixties, Tormé’s COLOR ME JAZZ show brings to bare the celebrated young singer’s buttery tone and high-level improvisational gifts to bare, as he tips his hat to Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, Jack Jones, his own father, Mel Tormé, and several other legendary singers and arrangers.

Leading the trio will be John “Chops” Colianni, a musical genius in his own right (formerly the main accompanist for Mel Tormé) who embodies very the essence of swing. Known for his virtuosic, hard swinging piano style, Colianni is also widely recognized as one of the most gifted orchestra/band leaders anywhere in the world.
