One year ago, Joe Mahaffey, a Centenary Business Administration major from the class of 2010 and son of long-time university staff member and alumna, Trish Varn Mahaffey ‘75/’78, had a life-threatening motorcycle accident. As a result, Centenary University, Rutherfurd Hall and CWeb will be sponsoring a fundraiser that is designed for the entire family. All proceeds will go toward his extensive medical expenses. Members of the community are invited to participate in this is a family-friendly event.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Live music throughout the day. Enjoy food vendors, local breweries and a live and silent auction. Children’s concerts at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Transportation will occur during the day for Centenary students to Rutherfurd Hall.
Tickets are $15 at the door. Centenary University Students $10 and children under 12 are FREE.
