Learn the Ayurvedic approach for food choices to feed your body type! Have you noticed that some foods you consume make you feel great while others slow you down? Learn what body type (dosha) you are and what it craves to bring your body into a state of balance. Ayurveda is a rich holistic system which evolved in India about 5000 years ago, and is considered to be the world's oldest healthcare system.
Participants will learn which foods are best for their dosha’s and learn the importance of Ayurveda recognized 6 tastes, food combination and spices through a demonstration. Participants will enjoy the freshly prepared light snacks combined with choices of Ayurvedic teas. A 15 minute Q&A will follow the tasting and you will be provided with information and recipes to take home.
