Ever wonder what it would be like to live in a tiny cabin in the middle of the woods in Alaska, living without modern amenities, traveling two hours to go to Walmart, Home Depot, or out to eat in the winter? “Life in the Last Frontier: Alaska” will look at the tradeoffs to these sacrifices such as experiencing the Northern Lights and hiking at 10p.m. while enjoying 20 hours of daylight!
Patrice and Justin La Vigne live in a dry cabin outside of Denali National Park in Alaska. They are hiking guides, environmental educators, and freelance writers. Patrice is also the author of Between Each Step: A Married Couple’s Thru Hike on New Zealand’s Te Araroa.
