Join the Maker Movement! Come celebrate the third annual NJ Makers Day at your favoirte Warren County Library Branch. This statewide celebration of Maker Culture features all-ages events throughout NJ.

Franklin Branch (1502 Hwy. 57, Washingon), 10am-4pm: Create tie dye shirts, buttons, recycled crayons and beautiful tissue paper flowers and a paper vase to match! Learn how to use our new sewing machine, watch a demonstration on robotics and 3D printing! Ride a DIY skateboard and watch as we shoot ping pong balls out of an air cannon!

Headquarters (2 Shotwell Drive, Belvidere), 10am-3pm: Activities for all ages will be available. Make a bracelet, marble maze, straw flyers, tiny dancers, chocolate lollipops, yarn creatures, felt flowers, an ocean in a bottle, and so much more.

Catherine Dickson Hofman Branch (4 Lambert Rd., Blairstown) Meeting Room, 10am-4pm: Activities for all ages and then some.  Make a keychain with Silhouette, try some chair yoga, learn to knit, make a button, enjoy one of our many carts, tool a leather bracelet, craft at a variety of stations, visit the Voodoo Chicken and much, much more at our 3rd annual NJ Makers Day celebration.  Everyone is encouraged to get creative!

Northeast Branch (40 US Hwy. 46, Independence Twp.) Meeting Room, 10am-3pm: For all ages. Visit the Northeast Branch and explore your inner maker! Here is a list of our activities for Maker's Day:
E-device Station: Ipad, Nook and a Kindle; Build a periscope; K9 Genome Genetics project; Robotics demonstration; Tangrams; Math Challenge; Rocket model making; Brush Bots; Yarn Bookmarks; Fiber Spinning; Origami; 3D Printer Demo; Pokémon Science Experiment; Planting Sunflower seeds and transplanting spider plants; Building a nutritious snack; Dirt cup making station; Kids make and take building project with Joe Hughes from the Home Depot in Mansfield, NJ.
