Led by RVC trustee and local ecologist, Sharon Wander, explore the preserve’s diverse habitats, identify birds by sight and sound, gain insight into their behaviors, and discover why Dark Moon is such an important refuge for wildlife. This walk is perfect for beginners and experienced birders alike.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, apply tick spray, and dress for the weather. Binoculars are recommended if you have them. Children age 10 and older are welcome to join with a parent. Please leave your pups at home for this hike!
