National POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony

The veterans of The American Legion, Carl D. Archer Post 528 of White Township cordially invite you to join us in our upcoming National POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony at the permanent Prisoner of War/Missing in Action memorial, located at the Oscar Unangst Memorial Fields (across from Flowerland).  This will be the 10th ceremony held by our Post, ninth year at the memorial, honoring these heroic men and women who sacrificed for our country and their families.

The ceremony will honor former POWs and include the POW/MIA empty chair and the Missing Man table and Honors ceremony with the placing of the service hats, POW/MIA flag, POW Pledge of Allegiance, etc.

Participating in the ceremony will be the Warren County Board of County Commissioners, state elected officials and members of Post 528.

Feel free to bring a lawn chair.
