Hosted by the Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm, you'll collect and process seed from the field, including kale, tomato, onion, flowers and garlic seeds to name a few. The seed we collect, clean and process will be saved for our 2019 season. There will be plenty of time for discussion. You will leave with enthusiasm and confidence to practice seed saving on your own. Plus a sample of the seeds we collect. No experience necessary!
Donation for the workshop: $15 for CSG members; $20 for non-members.
The workshop is appropriate for adults and children over 7.
Please register early by emailing csgardeninfo@gmail.com or call 908-362-7486 since space is limited.
Community Supported Garden at Genesis Farm
Community Supported Agriculture gives an opportunity for a community of people to take responsibility for supporting a farm. It is a partnership between the farmers and the people who directly benefit from the food.
