Shippen Manor Summer Lawn Concert - Crazy Hearts

Another show in the Shippen Manor Summer Lawn Concert Series. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, pack a picnic if you like, and relax and enjoy a variety of  live musical performances - FREE- all summer long on the lawn of Shippen Manor.

Considered to be one the best Country bands in the Northeast, Crazy Hearts has opened for national recording stars Big and Rich, the Charlie Daniel’s Band, Josh Turner, Billy Currington, Mark Wills, Kitty Wells, and David Lee Murphy, among others. Crazy Hearts has won over twenty music awards from the Lehigh Valley Music Association in the last several years.

Jarrett Dean Rollins (Lead Male Vocals & Rhythm Guitar) and Bonnie Jean Rollins (Lead Female Vocals) from San Antonio, Texas, give Crazy Hearts its true country sound. Billy Patrick (Lead Guitar), Bill Cobel (Bass Guitar), Chris Jones (Steel Guitar, Mandolin & Harmonica), RJ Cramer (Fiddle, Guitar, and vocals), and Butch Werkheiser Jr. (Drums) provide the background music and drive that propels the band.

This free event starts at 5pm and is sponsored by the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission, supported by the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and funded in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The lawn at Shippen Manor is reasonably accessible and accessible lavatories are available.

Shippen Manor

Shippen Manor is a c.1754 iron master’s residence built by Dr. William Shippen, Sr. The Shippens were socially prominent members of a wealthy Philadelphia family. The museum offers guided tours on the 1st and 2nd Sundays from May to December, except on holidays.
