Tamron Photography Workshop at Lakota Wolf Preserve

Friday, March 9, 2018 -
10:30am to 6:30pm

Capture the wildlife pictures of a lifetime in an outdoor setting that's superb for photographers. Your photo experience at Lakota Wolf Preserve includes packs of Tundra, Timber, and Arctic wolves in a natural setting. You'll also see bobcats and foxes, which also live on the reserve in the mountains of the Delaware Water Gap in Knowlton Township.

Our day will begin on Friday morning at Dan’s Camera City in Allentown with Tamron Field Services Manager Ken Hubbard leading our classroom presentation. We'll discuss tips and techniques for great wildlife photos, including: proper use of telephoto and all-in-one zoom lenses; choosing a composition for strong impact and making the light work for you, and more.

After a pizza lunch provided by Tamron, our bus will take you to our destination, The Lakota Wolf Preserve, where we will spend several hours on location photographing the wolves of Lakota with exclusive access just for our students. Ken Hubbard, Dan's Camera City, and Tamron staff will be right there with you for hands-on guidance and feedback. Then we'll wrap up with a free wine tasting at Brook Hollow Winery. Free Tamron lens loaners will be available for use throughout the event. You must be at least 16 years of age to participate in this workshop, 21 or older to participate in the wine tasting. Tickets are $250. Get your ticket today.
